Canine Good Citizenship

Training and Testing for the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Program

 

Breeder Referral

We will refer potential puppy buyers to responsible breeders who are members of the Calcasieu Kennel Club, and provide tools to find responsible breeders elsewhere.

 

Public Education

How much is that doggy in the window?  Where is the best place to buy your next dog?  How can I train my dog?  What is responsible dog ownership?  All this and more . . . .

 

Scholarships

The Calcasieu Kennel Club has a scholarship program for veterinary medicine students at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA.
