AKC’s Responsible Dog Ownership Day

Each September we host a RDOD at the Oktibbeha County Co-Op in Starkville, MS.

This is a time when the public can meet the club members, their dogs and obtain useful information about the American Kennel Club.

Different activities include:

• A Canine Good Citizen test
• Meet the Breeds
• Obedience demonstration
• The local humane society/ Oktibbeha County Shelter provides a table of information and issues city licenses for your pets.

Additional activities will be planned for future responsible dog ownership days.

• B-OC Match—conformation and obedience is held on Saturday after Best in Show.
• CERF Eye Clinic will be provided on Saturday from 2:00—4:00 pm. Examiner: Dr. William Miller, DVM DACVO. Pre-registration required. Contact Sonya Baird to register.
• Raffle
