Above pictures were taken on day three upon his arrival to our house (30 August 1999)

When Emperor arrives:

It was a happy drive-back-home after work for Kimmy and I on that Friday evening with puppy Emperor in our car. We brought back this plump looking little Emperor on 27 (Friday) August 1999.

Arriving home with Emperor was just the best part of the story. The moment we put him down right on the main door of our house, there goes this plump little fellow running into the living room.

His ( :o) we never refering him as “it”) first appearance in our house on that evening has interrupted the whole family members who’re catching their evening TV programme in the living room on that particular moment.

I guess Emperor could've said..."Hey! Will you all forget about the TV for a moment, look at me, I'm cute"...the whole family members, my parents, my elder brother and his girlfriend were amused and got tickled upon seeing Emperor’s funny ball-like little body.

Curiously sniffing around the living room that he has never been before. Frankly, we’ve never owned a dog before and this makes Emperor a very special NEW "family member" in our house.

My mother just can't resist to cuddles this fat little Lab, even though she's known to be so afraid of dogs.

Looking back on the first crating-night :

As recommended on books relating on how and where to place the crate, Emperor’s “palace” (crate) was placed specifically on a well-socialized spot in our living room, so that he'd not felt alone when he’s in his “palace”. He likes to sleep with a blowing fan placed next to him (haa!…of course, this is not found in books).

Anyway, I've shorten the "palacing" period, as I think this will pleased Emperor more if I were to set him free within the house's compound.

Thanks for reading.

Well, that's all about Emperor's beautiful stories upon his arrival to our house. Click below link to see and read more of him at 2-month-old.
