Daisy's Olympics
The Clinton County SPCA Annual Fall Pet Extravaganza was held on October 5, 2008.  Each year they have a Pet Walk, Silent Auction, Blessing of the Pets, Parade of Breed, Doggie Olympics, and a Pet show (including a Costume Class) at a park in our town.  They also have Information Booths, Rescue Organizations, Pet Pictures, and Food and Games.  It is very exciting for the Pets and Humans.  Everyone has a great time.
This is the picture they took of me when we arrived for the games.
This picture is of the Parade of Breeds.
We are getting ready to start now.  My Aunt Rosemary will be running in the events with me.  Let the games begin.
We had to run down the field going through a big tunnel, then back through a little tunnel, and then run to the finish line.  I took 2nd place in this event.
We had to run down the field going up and down both ramps and then run back to the finish line.
I took 3rd Place in this event.
My Aunt had a raw egg on a spoon. We had to run down the field and back to the finish line without dropping the egg.  I didn't place in this event.
We had to run down the field, my Aunt had to tie a bandana around my neck, and then run back to the finish line.
My bandana fell off when we were running back so we had to stop so Aunt Rosemary could tie it back on.
I didn't place in this event.
We had to run down the field jumping over 2 hurdles and back jumping over 2 more hurdles to the finish line.
I took 2nd place in this event.
This is musical hoops.  They play music and when the music stops, my Aunt and I had to both jump into the hoop.
I didn't place in this event.
This is me with all my ribbons  My Mom had it all framed.  We all had a great time.
I can't wait till next year.
This is Father Jozef blessing all the animals.
This is me sitting with Aunt Rosemary.  We were taking a break.
