First a little about myself....I live with my Mom, my Gramma (humanz) and my two brothers, Bo and Truman. They're Chihuahua's. You know, yo quiero Taco Bell....

I'm the senior dog here and I RULE THE ROOST!

I'm on duty all the time, 24 hours a day! I do a really good job. I'm big and I have a big bark and growl. I'm not one to bark at shadows. Well, some shadows need barking at. My Mom and I jog almost every morning and after a good nap I'm up and ready for what ever the day brings.

Bo and Truman are a hand full. Bo is the older of the two, he's just over a year old. Truman is new to the family, he's 8 months old and a real yapper! I must admit, Bo's my favorite. I know you shouldn't pick faves but I just can't help myself, he's so cute. He's crazy about me too.

11-1-99

Dear Diary,
Well, it's Monday,Mom and I jogged...it was good.Bo wishes he could go but he's too little. Truman says no way. He's a scaredy.

11-3-99

Dear Diary,
Mom took Bo and Truman to see Aunt Donna and Uncle Mark today. I can't go, I'm too big and can't fit in the car. But I need to stay home and guard anyway.

11-5-99

Dear Diary,
Mom took Bo and Truman to visit Aunt Pat and Uncle Gene. Aunt Pat always gives the boys chicken when they come over. They got to play with Myan and Kani. They're Pugs.

11-6-99

Dear Diary,
Two of Gramma's lady friends came by today. We all barked, growled and carried on. It was great fun.
11-8-99

Dear Diary,
Another Monday...Gramma went to her friends to play Scrabble. Mom did house cleaning and I guarded. Mom says house work makes you ugly. She has a plaque in the laundry room that says so.

Mom spent a lot of time on the computer with her friend Richard. They're working on my web site.
11-10-99

Dear Diary,
Mom took Bo and Truman to Aunt Pat's again. They go over there all the time. Mom and Aunt Pat have been best friends for more than 30 years. Wow! Wonder how old Mom is. Truman got in trouble again for doing poo behind the chair in the living room. He just doesn't get it. Me and Bo stood way back and watched. Mom pushed him out the doggie door, roughly. It's tough being a kid.
11-11-99

Dear Diary,
Today was trash day. Me and all the other dogs in the neighborhood get to bark off and on all day and get away with it. Everyone knows those trash trucks expect to be barked at. All Mom does is work on the computer.

11-12-99

Dear Diary,
I've hurt myself and Mom won't let me go jogging. Boy, I hate that. Off she went by herself. I tried to stop her but she went anyway. Mom bought me two new dog beds. Big, fat, soft ones, oh boy, oh boy! Mom said it's because I'm sooooo sweet and have a hurtie. I sure hope I'm all better tomorrow.

11-13-99

Dear Diary,
Mom still won't let me go jogging and she went alone again. Mom says that if I'm not better I'll have to walk or limp to the vet since I can't fit in the car. Uncle Mark called and talked to Truman. He tried to make him bark. Uncle Mark was the only one barking. Truman said later he didn't understand phones. He's such a baby.

11-14-99

Dear Diary,
Well, I finally got to take a little walk. Mom said no jogging for me. I don't wanna go to the vet. I think I'm scared. I'll just look mean and no one will know. I'm a little better, maybe I'll be ok. Mom and Richard are always working on the computer. Day and Night, Night and Day.....computer, computer, computer! Wonder what takes so long?

11-15-99

Dear Diary,
I'm all better....me and Mom ran. It was cool and foggy. Really fun. Like my own, private misting system. A Rottweiler's dream. The phone man was working next door and me and the boys barked our darn heads off. Only reason we got away with it is because Mom was watching her soap and running to the computer on commercials. hehehe...

11-16-99

Dear Diary,
Mom and the boys went to Aunt Donna's for a few days. Mom's having computer problems and Aunt Donna has a new computer. I'm here with gramma. I have a lot of guarding to do when Mom's gone. Humanz work from dawn to dawn but a dogz work is never done. I think that's a famous dogz saying.

11-20-99

Dear Diary,
Mom called...gramma wouldn't let me talk. Sometimes she's so snooty. I'll be glad when Mom comes home.

11-21-99

Dear Diary,
Mom and the boys came home today. Now things can get back to normal. Mom's happy 'cause now we have aol she says. Bo and Truman told me all about spending a few days with Cujo, Hobie, Harley and Peabody. They barked and chased Harley and Peabody. Harley and Peabody love to play chase. Truman said he had fun but all Mom did was work on the computer.

11-22-99

Dear Diary,
Boy, it's cold today. Only 38 degrees this morning. Mom and I went for our run.....Mom can't run up hill as well as I can...but what can you expect with only two legs.

11-24-99

Dear Diary,
It's really cold today, only 30 degrees. Mom said we couldn't run today 'cause she has too much to do to get ready for Thanksgiving. Cujo and Hobie are coming and they're gonna sleep over. They're gonna bring Aunt Donna and Uncle Mark, I wonder if Hobie will be driving. And there will be turkey. Oh, boy!

11-25-99

Dear Diary,
I waited all morning for everyone to get here! Finally, at noon, they got here and I was out in the back yard helping Mom pick up poo. I like poo to be all around but she prefers to put it in plastic bags and give it to the trash guys. The boys and I have to work real hard to mark all corners of the yard before she comes with that bag. It was great to see Cujo and Hobie! We all ran and played catch and barked and barked. What a fun day! Mom gave us all turkey.... yummmmmmm!
11-26-99

Dear Diary,
I had to get up real early today to get Cujo and Hobie off at 5:30 a.m. We all kissed and said our good byes....it was really fun having them.

They took Aunt Donna and Uncle Mark home too. I forgot to notice who was driving...I think Cujo. I have a good photo of them in their truck.
11-27-99

Dear Diary,
We took Bo with us today....Mom carried him in a chest-pack for doggies. He had a really good time. That's all he talked about all day long. We left Truman at home and Gramma said he howled the entire time we were gone and Truman said it was true. Bo says he's just a cry baby. Mom said the web site is up and running......so, why is she still on the computer all the time. I don't see the attraction. Must be a humanz thing.

11-28-99

Dear Diary,
Mom said if Bo can't walk on a leash then he can't go....Bo said, "no way." Truman said, "goody, now I don't have to stay home alone." Mom said, "fine!" So, we ran and I had a wonderful time. I'm sure mom could do better if she'd let her tongue hang out, way far, like I do.

11-29-99
Dear Diary,
Mom and I ran, she's doing a little better. She thinks she can run up hill now. ha! Poor ol' thing. Mom took Gramma to the doctor and I stayed home and guarded. Bo and Truman watched General Hospital while Mom was gone.

12-1-99
Dear Diary,
Mom and I jogged to the post office this morning. We went through the market parking lot and I got to puff up and look tough. It's fun to see people's mouths drop open at the sight of me. I must be really georgous.

12-2-99
Dear Diary,
Bo and Truman went to visit Myan and Kani....they saw Aunt Pat too. They have a new doggie door but they're scared to go through it. Bo and Truman showed them over and over but they said their noses were flat enough already. Those silly pugs!

12-3-99
Dear Diary,
It was pretty fogy today. Mom is doing a little better on the up hills. At lease she's got the panting down right. Now if she'd just work on that tongue. All I know is...it helps me.

12-4-99
Dear Diary,
Mom brought Aunt Pat over so she could see my web site (poor Aunt Pat doesn't have a computer). Aunt Pat thinks I'm soooooo cute. Mom made me stay outside a lot. I wanted too push and press and snort all over Aunt Pat but Mom said NO. Geeze! Mom, Aunt Pat and Gramma all went to lunch. They made us stay home. Today is Gramma's birthday. Mom said she's 83. When you get to 100 does it reset and start over?

12-6-99
Dear Diary,
I thought today would be just another Monday, running, eating, sleeping. But the tree trimmers came! Oh boy!! Mom wouldn't let me go outside but I watched 'em and barked and growled way down deep. They kept looking over their shoulders. hehehe! It was all very tiring. I'll sleep good tonight.

12-7-99
Dear Diary,
We only walked today. Mom thinks that we should only run every other day....what ever! The back yard looks funny with all the branches cut off the trees. That must be why it was so cold this morning. Sometimes it's kinda hard for dogz to figure these things out. I'm pretty quick. *smile*

12-10-99
Dear Diary,
It was a slow week. Not very much to bark at. The neighbors are always good for a few barks just to keep 'em on their toes. Mom went Christmas shopping today....wonder what she bought for me?

12-11-99
Dear Diary,
The wind has been blowing and blowing. Bo, Truman and I spend a lot of time running in and out, barking and chasing leaves. We got mom up at 2:00 a.m. so she could hear the wind. I don't think she enjoys it as much as we do.

12-12-99
Dear Diary,
It was 28 degrees last night. Mom covered the citrus trees with sheets. Truman came outside and was scared.....he thought he saw a ghost. Bo and I laughed and Truman got mad. I knew it was just sheets 'cause I helped Mom put 'em on while Truman was taking a nap.

12-14-99
Dear Diary,
Good thing Mom put those sheets on the trees! There was full-on ice on 'em and they were all stiff! She was walkin' around all smug. *smile*

12-16-99
Dear Diary,
Mom took Bo and Truman to visit Cujo and Hobie......Aunt Donna and Uncle Mark will be there too. She said they will just be gone over night. She always says that.......we'll see.

12-17-99
Dear Diary,
Well, Mom called.....and they're staying another night. I knew it! This is good, it gives me a chance to get rested up. And with them all gone I have a lot more guarding to do and that always makes me tired.

12-18-99
Dear Diary,
Well, here we go again.......they're stayin' over another night! Mom told Gramma to pat my head and rub my ears......but she just patted my head a little. Gramma says she tips over too easy. She keeps telling me to stay back. You don't tip over all that easy when you have all 'four' firmly planted! I almost never tip over.

12-19-99
Dear Diary,
Mom and the boys came home.....finally! Truman said they had a really good time. And the most fun was chasing and barking at Peabody and Harley. Bo said that Truman was scared coming home in the car and had to hide in a dark corner. I like to hang my whole head out the window. I wrote a little Christmas poem for Mom!
12-20-99
Dear Diary,
It's so nice to have everyone back at home. Christmas is almost here.....Mom says we all have to be really good so Santa will come by and leave our presents. I wonder if Santa has a dog....of course he does!

12-22-99
Dear Diary,
Mom went over to see Aunt Pat and took Bo and Truman. Truman said the wind was blowing really hard and the dirt and tree branches were blowing everywhere. He was scared. He threw-up in the car on the way home.

12-24-99
Dear Diary,
It's Christmas Eve....Oh, boy!!! Mom and I ran......that started the day off just right. Bo wanted to go but Mom said no. Cujo and Hobie will be coming tomorrow.....we can hardly wait! We're very excited. Mom ran the vacuum....we ran outside.

12-25-99
Dear Diary,
IT'S CHRISTMAS!!! OH YEAH, OH YEAH!!! We all got lots of rawhide chews and wrappings to tear through. Cujo and Hobie arrived in their "limo"!

Uncle Mark has to drive today so he brought everyone over in the limo on his way to pick up his fare. Cujo said it was fun and Hobie said it was really long. They get to 'sleep over'! Oh, boy .......we're all having such a good time!

Christmas is cool!

12-26-99
Dear Diary,
I am just sooooo tired. Having company in at Christmas is such an ordeal. I hardly got a wink of sleep last night. Aunt Donna and Uncle Mark closed their bedroom door and I worried all night long, snorted and paced a lot. I just hate closed doors. Cujo and Hobie did come out at 2:00 a.m. and we all got Mom up to go outside and then again at 4:00 a.m. That was fun. I love Uncle Mark. He plays catch with me.

12-29-99
Dear Diary,
Mom went to the market.....she said to buy millennium groceries. I don't really know what a millennium is. Must be something really good because everyone is talking about it....even on tv. Mom said it's almost New Year's...but no presents. She said we had one last year too....hummmm....I don't remember.

12-30-99
Dear Diary,
Mom's all cranky because the diary is messed up. She thinks Richard did it and I think Richard thinks Mom did it. I thought this computer stuff would slack off after the site was up.....but no way.....it's just the same as always. Computer, computer, computer.

12-31-99
Dear Diary,
Ok, it's New Year's Eve! Now what? I waited all day for something to happen......nothing ever did....only rained all day. Mom bought a new matress....she said I can't sleep on it. I'd let her sleep on my bed anytime she wants to. I think there's a double standard going on here.
