Guido is a two year old Timneh African Grey Parrot. I bought him right around Valentine's Day in 1998 while Bill was out at sea. He was only 6 weeks old, and didn't even have all his feathers. I had to hand feed him for another 6 or 8 weeks.
Now he's all grown up and talking like crazy. He also beeps like the microwave, smoke detector and ScanDisk. He yells at Zoe and Robin when they're too loud. He loves to tell himself what a good boy he is. He says "Hello, Dear" and "I love you" in Bill's voice. And he likes to hang upside down when he plays. Sometimes he gets carried away and hits himself in the beak with a toy, then yells "OW!"
