The Generals
The Generals got their names because they were born on Pearl Harbor Day, 12/7/90.  They comprised 4 tri-color boys and 1 red & white boy.Their parents are:
Sire: Ch. Bubalak Welred Kipling, F.Ch.
Dam: Stilwell's Silky Sue, SC, F.Ch.
Stilwell's Shadow of Bubalak, F.Ch.
(Diamond)
Diamond finished his ASFA Field Champion title in a spectacular way by defeating his brother, Ike, for Best of Breed and going on to win Best In Field for the day.  Definitely a nice way to Finish a title!!

Diamond was a super fast boy and was only beaten by his brothers.  He is now chasing Sky Bunnies. He was owned and loved by David & Molly Howard. He was lost tragically when escaped through a gate onto a busy street.  He has been missed by all who knew him.

Diamond's Parents were:

Sire:  Ch. Bubalak Welred Kipling, F.Ch.
Dam:  Stilwell's Silky Sue, SC, F.Ch.

Diamond is Bennie's half-brother.

(Jack)
Jack's people are Ken and Ginny Klecka in LaGrange, Illinois.

Jack began his coursing career at the age of eighteen months, at the 4/24/92 CSBLCC Specialty. He was entered in the ASFA and AKC trials held on the same day.  Jack was BOB at both trials and earned 24 points in the ASFA trial and a 5 point major in the AKC trial.

This began an amazing series of consecutive 27 first places with 17 BOB's in completed ASFA and AKC trials.  The sequence was broken when he finally placed second at the 1994 ASFA International Invitational to his brother, Stilwell's General Eisenhower, LCM.

His other achievements include:
7/18/93 - ASFA Field Champion in Ten trials with 10 BOB's.
1993 - ASFA Region Six Top Basenji Award
1993 - BCOA National Field Trial, BOB, with an entry of 31 hounds
1993 - ASFA Top Ten #7
1994 - Top Twenty #12

Jack is a handsome, 17 1/2' square, light boned tri-boy.  Jack is usually recognized for his loud, exuberant trumpeting at the starting line, his very exceptional distance covering strides and his great endurance.

Jack is the Klecka's fourth basenji and coursing hound.  Macho chose Jack from a double litter of 12 puppies (all tri-color, but one) as his special friend to go live in Illinois.

Macho 'Jenji's Macho, LCM 2, TT' helped teach Jack how to lure course.  Macho was the #3 ASFA Lifetime Top Ten, 1972-1989.  He was a wonderful coursing hound and will never be forgotten.

Jack's kennelmate, Allie helps keep Jack in line. Allie also won a Best of Breed at the 1987 BCOA National Specialty Lure Trial.

(Pat)

(Amber)
Diane, Amber and Pat

This bred-for-coursing boy was on the lure from the minute his feet hit the ground.  He finished his JC on 3/29/92; his ASFA Field Champion title on 8/9/92 and his Senior Courser title on 3/14/93.  He finished his LCM in 1993.

Pat was the #2 ASFA Top Ten Basenji in 1992 and has made the Top Ten several times since.

Pat is living in the lap of luxury with his own personal slave, Diane Hill, in Dallas, Texas.  His kennelmate is Amber, who has to drag him around by his neck at least once a day to keep him in line.  She's definitely the boss bitch of the family!

But, Oh, That Voice!!
Stilwell's General McArthur
(Mac)
Mac is shown here taking his first two AKC conformation points.  Mac has also successfully lure coursed, and beaten his brother, Diamond, for Best of Breed.

Mac is currently living in Seattle, Washington with his family, Bruce, Nancy & Lara Brantingham.

Mac is the odd man out in the litter, being the only red and white boy, but definitely not the least.

Mac is Bennie's half-brother.

Stilwell's General Eisenhower, LCM, (Ike)
Ike lives with his nephew, Jack, and their person, Mike Howard, in the Houston area.  Ike's housemate is Tirzah and Banjo's brother, Ben Hur's Jumping Jack Flash, JC, but he is best known as 'Baby Jack'

Ike earned his Field Champion title the hard way, by defeating his very fast brothers for the majority of his points.  Ike carried on the family tradition by winning Best of Breed at the 1994 ASFA International Invitational held in Falcon, Colorado on June 4, 1994 and earning the Merv Bauer Memorial Trophy.  Ike had to compete with his previously undefeated brother, Jack, to earn this prestigious award.

Ike earned his Field Champion title 11/14/92 and his Lure Courser of Merit 6/5/94.   Ike was the #5 Top Ten ASFA Basenji for 1992.

Ike is Bennie's half-brother.
I received this note from Baby Jack wanting to know where his picture was.

'Aunt Linda, where my picture and the picture of uncle Ike?  I been trying to make up for being called a baby again after the electric fence incident in Lubbock.  Dad says I squalled like I did when my dad flew into me (I don't think I did though).  To prove I'm not a baby I went chasing waves right out into the ocean and didn't even show that I cared about getting wet.  Baby Ike on the other hand tried to run away from the waves to keep from getting wet, but then he got pretty mad about getting wet.

Baby Jack'

Jack's parents are:

Ch. Silwell's Ben Hur, SC, LCM
Hai Aari Theo Castashadow, LCM 2

Ike, Mike and Baby Jack are quite a team.
