The house we bought was a duplex, so ofcourse, we had to remove one electric and water meter before we could get a single family dwelling loan. That was easy. When we look at the house, it was occupied by two different families, neither of which had children. The rooms were sparsly furnished and neat as a pin. I was confident that our family could change all that! Our first project, purchased all those extra hammers, was knocking down the wall that separated the livingroom from the hallway that led to the second floor/upstairs apartment. We lost a wall in the livingroom for furniture arrangement, however the impression of more 'space' was well worth the effort. Below, you will find links to all our projects. Hope you enjoy the tour.Below, you will find a site index along with other homesteading links.
