I like your page and humor. Lots of personality in it...I have a good friend in Georgetown MN, so I know what your weather is like. We just moved into this house, it has about 2 acres part of it is wet and uncleared. The back yard is large grassy a few la ge trees and Ive been cutting out the grass around a group of trees and a stump in a large rectangle for flowers and shrubs. There isnt alot of hot sun here with all the trees blocking the sun. We do get some in the back but its filtered so it dont get in ense. And I want to build about 3-4 raised vegie gardens with railroad ties. What do you think? We also have lots of stuff to do inside like a whole new kitchen...it just needs a face-lift like new paint,cabinets,sink, counter,floor,appliances and new lig ting. We did something similar to our other house before we moved. but instead of new cabinets we painted them with cheap paint...never use cheap paint! It chipped and bubbled up when exposed to hot. Thanx for letting me tour your sight...any suggestions r words of wisdom for our project list please....

We live in the foothills of the Sierra mountain range and when you say rock garden, you get an idea of what we have here. Nonetheless, we put in a pond that is ecologically balances with all sorts of critters, including a Swedish tufted duck. We'll be w rking on our "park" for another 10-15 years, but it's constantly improving. I love your pages and will have to come back, because I want to see them all. Did you do your own cartoon on the homepage? Neat! Oh, yes, I envy you your older home; my honey wanted new, so I gave in, 'cause I like him a lot, after 38 years of marriage ;-)
