Kelsey's dollhouse started it all. One Christmas... I won't tell you which one because then you'll know how long it took me to ALMOST finish it... I decided that I would build a dollhouse for my granddaughter. She was so patient, poor baby. I finally decided that she'd waited long enough and delivered it to her this way. Kelsey and I will put the shingles and chimney on, together, sometime when I go up for a visit. The wicker chair, plant hanger and plant, pictures, baskets, rugs, the firescreen and other small projects are all things that I made. The more I did, the more I learned and the more I became addicted. Now I've attended lots of miniature shows, taken classes, subscribe to three miniature magazines, joined NAME and have untold numbers of unfinished things, so I guess I'm officially a miniaturist. Kelsey has become quite the collector, taking every opportunity to buy something new for her house. |

FLASH... The kit is out from under the bed and construction has begun!
I will be posting pictures of my progress, which will probably be slow.
