My career with PGT began in 1994 when I joined the company as a sales consultant with principle responsibilities in Dade County
Florida. I became a sales representative in Dade and Broward Counties in Florida in 1996.
In 1997 I returned the main office and accepted the position of product specialist responsible for hurricane resistant window and door products.
Prior to this I was heavily involved in the window and door industry in Dade County before hurricane Andrew and during the aftermath.
This experience led to my interest in hurricane protection.
Since 1992 I have become a strong proponent of hurricane resistant building codes and impact windows and doors.
Originally from South Bend, Indiana, I attended Indiana University from 1970 to 1974 majoring in business administration.
I have one son, Ryan majoring in criminal justice at Indiana University.
I have enjoyed building and racing motorcycles. I also enjoy fishing, NASCAR, and maintaining a web site.
I have a cat named "Hairball" that I'm fond of.
