OUR HAWAII TRIPOUR HAWAII TRIPMike was sent to Hawaii for work for 2 weeks and Meg & I had to join him for 1 week! We went to the Waikiki Aquarium, saw hula shows, went snorkeling with porpoises & burned our butts! One day we toured the Dole Plantation & found out it takes 18 months to grow a pineapple. There was also a pond full of Koi that we fed. Another day we went to Pearl Harbor & saw the Arizona Memorial & also the USS Missouri. We found a shrimp truck that sold freshly cooked shrimp. The truck was covered with signatures of people from all over the world - of course we signed also. Meg was a real trooper and tried all kinds of raw sushi and native Hawaiian foods, and drank out of a coconut shell. Needless to say, we had a great time!
