      Explanatory Information

This list includes all of the books I have used as of August 1998 to identify plants found on this site. Some are current and available through bookstores. Others are out of print, and are harder to find. Most of those on my list were available through our public library system, which offers a request service to libraries throughout several surrounding counties. I would always appreciate any suggestions for other books you feel would be useful in continuing my research on plants found in the Pacific Northwest.
As always, feel free to use any of my images for buttons or backgrounds on your pages, but please, please credit Diane's Designs for them, and place a link from your site back to that page or to this one. Thank you!
