The Woodworking Shop

A picture of the shop. The old war horse, PM68, is in the foreground (note guard). Behind that are the little and big PM bandsaws. Further back and slightly to the left is a 15" Dewalt RAS and all the way to the right is the well used PM drill press. At the very rear and slightly right of center are the doors to the spray booth. One good shop aid is a formica laminated glue up table (as seen to the left of the small bandsaw).

That big hunk hanging from the ceiling is the heater (no A/C).

Next is a picture of the dust collection system. On the top is the 5hp (3phase) blower motor. Just underneath is the cyclone separator, and right below that is a pair of 55 gallon drums for chip collection. The drums should give some perspective as to the size of the system. The dust bags, obviously, is the tall thingy to the left of the separator unit. In the forground, you can see part of an old Cresent 24 inch planer.

Right at the front edge of the picture is part of an 8" Powermatic jointer and the associated dust collection pipe (running up the left and across the top of the photo).
