Star Trek Ascension is a new Star trek story written by Mark Ball. It combines humour, drama and action in a book which is unlike any Star trek story you have read before.
The story is set in the
Deep Space 9 timeline and starts during the Dominion war. The
Federation is taking heavy casualties and needs all the allies it
can get. A mysterious wormhole is discovered on the far- side of
Federation space, after the first exploration vessel doesn't
return, Captain Edwards goes against his orders and enters the
wormhole- Not knowing that a deadly evil awaits on the other side.
