What to do in Boston.

If you've never been to Boston, you may not know of all of the great things there are to do there.  While I can't ever see myself living there again, (too cold and too expensive) I will always love visiting.  Plus, most of my immediate family lives there!

You can't beat the Boston area for
historical tourist attractions and great food, especially seafood.  On the next few pages are just a few of my favorites and a little tidbit of information for the novice to Boston as well as the seasoned New Englander.   If I've missed something of interest to you, just let me know.

Getting Around Boston - The "T"

Boston has one of the most inexpensive public transportation systems in the country.  A mere 85 cents is the price of a train token.  And if you learn how to make connections between the different lines, you can get where you want to go on only one token.

There are four train lines to the MBTA system, called The "T" by the locals.  Each is a color: Blue, Green, Orange and Red.  All intersect within a few blocks of each other in downtown Boston.  What's great is that most stations are named after what's nearby.

If you plan to go into Boston and want to know the best way to get there using public transporatation, just let me know.  I'd be happy to direct you.
