Summer 2000: project Report

This winter Todd is going to school, and working. We gave Tae Kwon Do the boot, and he's started taking care of an orchard. Although I would like to say that he has a grand scheme to make me something useful out in that garage of his...I'm afraid that we're down to Fix the Front Porch and Finish the kitchen (a project which is on it's  third year.) Can he get it done, and make good grades... Check back with us and see!

This seasonTodd will be working on a strawberry tower, so that I can grow my strawberries upright; thus, using much less space. And,he will be building me a rolling potter's bench- on the CHEAP. We will have in progress photo's, a usefullness report and any humorous anecdotes that happened along the way.

Okay, I made this page in March, and between work, Tae Kwon Do, planting, the new baby, and softball ...Todd hasn't given my potting bench a single thought. My potting was relegated to the kitchen island where peat moss remains stuck to this very day. However, my strawberry tower took about two hours to measure and make, and is working great thus far. So, I'm giving the strawberry tower an A and the potting bench an Incomplete....

Winter 2000/Early Spring 2001: Update! So far Todd has maintained a B average, while working 50 hours a week and doing various, "honey-do," chores around the house. The porch is sadly in need of paint, but with the weather so cold we've had to give it a miss until next month. I'm very proud of his performance at school!
