Lockheed Martin racers have been teaming with Cisco Systems racers lately so collectively we could send full teams at a reduced cost. We had such hybrid teams for two of the Ski Classic series races and the results were, well, mixed! For the first race, Robert White and Jeremiah Montoya joined the Cisco Brew Crew. Northstar was a day (not) to remember. It was a blizzard on the Saturday race day ... very cold on the top of the mountain waiting for our turn. We really didn't get to hang out much, and we realized we had missed the party when we got back to the motel (oops). Sunday was even worse. It RAINED. We got to the Northstar turn off where we encountered the parking lot. We asked an oncoming vehicle occupant what was up, and the they told us that power lines were down. So we had a nice breakfast at Rosie's in Tahoe City. |

The next race was at Heavenly, and it was. This time we needed sunscreen. Oh yeah. This time, it was the Cisco Ski Addicts. And this time, Mary Burke and Robert White added to the Cisco roster. And we ended up first place in the A Division: medals and soft ski gloves for everyone! |

Here are the times for the Heavenly Ski Classic. The Cisco-Lockheed powered club-team placed First in the A division. |

Now, it was time to gear up for the big show: the Corporate Ski Challenge at Alpine Meadows. |
