Circuit Design Engineer:
Design, provision, and coordinate installation of OC-48, OC-12, OC-3 (STS-1), DS3, DS1, DS0, Frame relay, & Internet services for internal & external customers. Review and verify information on all service orders submitted by sales. initiate electronic orders with LEC’s and IXC’s as required. Verification and assignment of available facilities. Submit work requests to engineering for additional equipment/facilities. Data entry and tracking of all designs, LEC/IXC circuit ID’s and locations for all circuits. Generate CLR’s, DLR’s, FOC’s and LOA’s as required for each circuit/order.

Long distance network technician/engineer:
Performed all technical operations to provide the best possible long distance service for the least possible price, to include; Commissioning and integrating SS7, DS-3, T1-D4, and POTS signals to the long distance network. Installation of Switch upgrades. Provided technical support for less experienced technicians, vendors, contractors, etc. Responsible for installation and maintenance to all company hardware, software, and management information systems, including peripherals to the network. Provided customer technical support to include, moving and installing key systems, engineering and installing telemarketing facilities, and troubleshooting customer networks.

Telephone Systems Installation Engineer:
Installing Ericsson radio cellular radio base station, and mobile telephone switching office equipment. Participated in all phases of installation including digital upgrade to cell-sites, from relocating existing equipment to preparing new equipment for final acceptance by the customer and cutting it into commercial traffic. Made hot and cold power termination's to, Ericsson, Lorain, and Northern Telecomm equipment. Installed Ericsson, Northern Telecomm, and Stromberg Carlson switching equipment. DSX and MDF cross-connects.

Computer Sciences Corporation and Raytheon Company:
Worked on the Eastern Space and Missiles Center's eastern test range. Supporting NASA and the Air-Force. Responsible for maintenance and operation of shipboard phased array and dish type signature radar and telemetry systems, associated with Air Force project Cobra Judy. Provided Down-range Technical support during Trident Missile test on Ascension Island. Fabricated and maintianed State of the art prototype Relocatable Over the Horizon Radar (ROTHR).

7/87-5/88 Defense Meteorological Satellite Command and Control  System Technician:
1000 Satellite Operations Group, Offutt AFB, Na.
Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP) Command and Control System Technician. Performed scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Data General computer mainframe, minicomputer, video display terminals, disk drives, line printers, cryptographic, and other specialized electronic equipment used to command and control the defense meteorological satellite program (DMSP) spacecraft. Isolated malfunctions, replaced or repaired defective units and performed preventive  maintenance .Evaluated equipment performance and aligned equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
 

8/81-7/87 Early warning and Space Track Radar unit  Shift Supervisor:
2159th Comm Sq, Eglin AFB, Fl.
Supervised and coordinated all maintenance efforts in the power modulation, monitor and control, and calibration of the AN/FPS-85 Early Warning and Space Track Radar. Responsible for  maintenance of 16 floors of equipment consisting of 5,184  transmitters and 4,660 receiver modules, digital beam steering calibration console, polarized two channel receiver calibration  console, transmitter phase and gain calibration console. Directed all maintenance efforts and ensured correct  documentation/recording of maintenance actions. Developed,  conducted, monitored, and controlled on-the-job training. Made  recommendations for improvements in maintenance procedures. Updated and verified maintenance management and information  control system data. Oversaw six crews, five crew leaders, and  personally supervised a crew of seven.
 

5/78-8/81 Telephone Central Office Technician:
1974th Comm Gp, Scot AFB Il.
Performed preventive and corrective  maintenance on a 2400 line step-by-step automatic electric end office telephone switching  exchange, administrative switchboard, 100 line and 300 line  automatic dial system. Operated and maintained type one  telephone test center. Corrected circuit outages by  coordinating  with outside agencies, i.e., Bell Telephone, AT&T long lines. Inspected and tested automatic voice network (AUTOVON) interface equipment to locate and correct faults.
