In January of 1977, Evel was to jump a shark tank in Chicago, Illinois. During a practice jump Knievel crashed on the landing ramp, going through the retension wall and injured a cameraman. This was Evel's last jump. A Friend at the jump.
During the 1970's Evel would Jet around the country.
Evel Knievel was performing since the early 1960's, in 1966 his daredevil show made a stop in Barstow, California.
