Hello and thank you for taking this opportunity to get to know me! I'm 19-years-old, and the reason I would like a position at Escondido Cycle Center is because I am a former motocross racer, and I love being around the sport. 
I also plan on getting back into riding for fun, instead of competition.


Education

	Graduated from Pine Creek High school, Colorado Springs, CO in 2001.
		-excelled in art classes & won several awards for illustrations.
		-extensive computer use in most subjects.
			-Programs include Microsoft Word, XCEL, Powerpoint, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Animation Shop, basic HTML programming.
	Now enrolled in Art classes at Palomar Community College in Escondido.

Work Experience

	1999-2001 Checks Unlimited, Colorado Springs, CO.
		-Data Entry and Costumer Service for a major check printing company.
		-Took orders by phone and handled problems in coorporate environment.
		-recieved several pay raises and incentives for progress and performance.

Future Goals

	I am attending a 2 year community college for introductory art classes, and then possibly a 4 year school like Art Institute of San Diego to major in Graphic Design, Animation, or Illustration

Interests

	Raced BMX and Motocross from age 6-15
	due to several injuries i chose to stop competing
	Now I ride freestyle BMX, play drums, work on my 1969 VW Karmann Ghia, Illustrate different things from tatoos and murals to cd cover art.
	I would also like to get back into Motocross just for fun, I don't feel a need to compete anymore.
	
In closing, I believe a position at Escondido Cycle Center would only further increase my interests in Motor sports, as well as keep me motivated to develop my talents and potential as an artist and an athlete!
