ok... end of qoutes and shit... you´ve, by some reason, come to the bastardish homepage of my label, fanhelvete records. hmmm... I guess there should be som kinda history and stuff on this place so I´ll get on with it:
Fanhelvete records started out maybe in late 97 or early 98, I can´t really seem to remember. There isn´t too much releases (yet) because I get my money from education and social welfare... that ain´t much. About 3000 swedish crowns a month, and sometimes even I must eat... But I have put out some demo-tapes which in a way are more fun to put out than 7" because you can fit lots more music on them, even though the Fanhelvete demos ain´t 90 minutes... Ok, for you who are interested here´s the list and if you think that something sounds interesting you can get it for FREE, yeah, that´s right, or you can buy it, do as you wish... Anyway, if you want the stuff for free just send me a blank tape and postage and I´ll record them for you (incl. covers, lyrics and so on...) But if you want to buy them you must send me some kinda payment, like a record, a fanzine, some cigarettes or whatever... I hate money, so be creative! just mail me (adress found somewhere on page) and I´ll get in touch for my adress... Ok, here goes the list:
Legion Of Parasites - Executions =
A mix of the typical Bålsta sound and the not so typical Enköping sound (from what I know there has been like two or three punkbands worth of mentioning from enköping...) Pretty fast, pretty apolitical and pretty members in this band. I know they love AntiCimex and other sweet goodies, but the music is more like...hmmm, i don´t really come up with anything, but anyway, this is rough and tough and basically pretty darn good hardcore with a liiitle bit of slomocrust in it, like the intros of some songs... the vocals sound a bit like the growler in Autoritär and the guitars seems to be borrowed from disclose.. Wordcollapse - Chaos of words =
A three piece band formed as a dyslexia (reading and writing problems) project for the international dyslexia year. It´s true, it was a school thing and the tape received good grades from the teachers... But the music is pure fucking armageddon with the legendary drummer Mutta from alcoholcity bålsta. It´s even a warsystem cover on this one, but conveniently they changed the title to wordsystem, and an AntiCimex cover.. guess which, yeah that´s right WARMACHINE, or WORDMACHINE in this version... Awesome hardcore at furios speed with furios guitar and bass solos in two of the songs, really worth checking out!! (fanhelvete 002)
Poolhouse Massacre - Act I =
Definately the most qualitative release of Fanhelvete with a really good sound at hyperspeed d-beat with dual (growl and screms) vocals. Even though the band no longer exists due to different musical interests amongst the members. The drummer now plays in a really good lofi-noice-pop band called Hunnypal, the guitarist plays in some strange instrumental mental surf/detective/safari/noice/chaos band called the plan 9 attackers, I believe... the bass-player has gotten married,almost, with his girlfriend so that pretty much covers his life, and the growler has moved for religion studying in Uppsala... The scremer does this shit, and he´s probably the only one even interested in the crust scene nowadays... and oh yeah... the drummer of this band is the drummer from yuppiecrusher (R.I.P) so please, only therefore you must get this one... ha.. Tuomio - Ekpg 98 =
Hmm... one guy and a porta-studio... could that be good, hell yeah, it´s definately in the same class as the two first releases from fanhelvete recs and it´ll absolutely bring lovely d-beat songs with twisted vocals into your speakers. I think that this demo has sold most of the fanhelvete tapes and it has received really good reviews in d.i.y punk press around the world, this is a must have... (fanhelvete 004)
Future Plans
A vinyl 7" or a demo split with tuomio and Confused Bastards, a newly started drunk and disorderly apolitical punk crustband.
A compilationtape with really good crust/hc from around the world in progress, it´s almost done now, just a few more things to be done. The bands on the tape (called "Absence of
Mind) are amongst others: P.O.S, Tuomio, Yuppiecrusher,
Scum Brigade, Whorehouse Of Representatives, Poolhouse Massacre, Extended Play 95, Chupacabra and lots of more... The first tape is full, but if you feel like you want to be on one of the forthcoming compilations just drop me a line, get my snailmail and hand over something, a vinyl,cd,dat,cassette or whatever, fuck the soundquality and hand over the shit.
