OB, One of the most powerful waves I've ever surfed. Growing up in the warmth and weak surf conditions of Miami, I often wonder... "what am I doing here?" The water never gets out of the 50's, there is no channel to paddle out, the rip current is so strong you can beat some of the people walking on the beach, it can take up to 45 minutes to punch through sets to get out back, I've done numerous face plants in the sand and broken several boards, and for some reason I love this place. At least there's never been a shark attack here (they don't like sand bottoms).
Some times the worst days are the small ones. When the swell is 3-4' you think to yourself that it will be an easy paddle out. Next thing you know your two blocks from where you started paddling out and there is no end in sight for the sets pounding you. It seems as if the waves set you up in one spot and said "hey lets get this guy". Once your outside though, it's pure fun (just don't take a wave all the way to the beach, unless it's your last).
