Introduction to Studying Abroad:

So, you decided you really really REALLY want to study abroad, but you have not yet figured out what you should be doing. You are worried about things like: if you will be able to go to begin with, what your parents will think, how your school records might be affected, financial factors, how you will cope with being away from home for so long in so different a country, and a gadgillion other things... you're about to have a mental breakdown!!

Well, FEAR NOT!! Moo is here to help you. Out of my good will I have decided to take the time to make this site to help all those who need help and need their questions answered.

There's so many places to go, people to meet, sights to see, things to try. You don't really have an excuse NOT to go abroad. Even if you're poor (and I know that 95% of you that think you're poor are really not), you could still find ways to get there. Hey.. I mean.. there are tons of scholarships at all levels. You wouldn't believe how much support you'll get. I, for one, managed to bring my program fees from nearly $6000 US, down to $400 US or so because of writing letters, trying hard, and being REALLY REALLY persistent. SO, you never know. If you're motivated, you'll make it. In other words: "Where there's a will, there's a way".

Studying abroad will make significant, if not HUGE, changes in your perspectives. What those changes are, are variable, because everyone's experiences abroad are different. Some people might find that their experience runs very smoothly, with only a few conflicts. Others find that they are running across challenges and conflicts every day, but at the same time are learning how to deal with them and are using those as lessons for life.

Your experience will be as unique and special as you make it.
