There are a lot of paddlers out there looking for good used gear, especially playboats, they are like golddust. Try a wanted ad. it may work Send a picture of your gear and I'll post that too, what more can I say? except we are starting to get some results as the hits keep coming.

CANOEIST BACK ISSUES "Simon Dawson has recently moved to London to start Nurse training. He says he's had ten excellent years working in canoeing at Nottingham, but it is time to move on and start something new. Any future canoeing activity will be strictly for pleasure, and probably biased towards open canoe touring (a sure sign of approaching middle age).

Having moved from a big Nottingham house to a London flat, he now has no space to store a large collection of Canoeist Magazine back issues. He wants to pass them on to someone else where hopefully they will be well used and appreciated. Profits from the sale will go to BCU Access funds. There are Canoeist Magazines from 1983 to  1995 (collection approx 90% complete) plus fourteen White Water Magazines (Canoeist's predecessor) from 1978/82, and a few early Playboater Magazines from 1995/96. PIROUETTE S In white. A boat with a history! This boat wrapped around a rock at Barrasford rapid on the Tyne Tour in 1997 and was creased fairly badly. It is now straight but would not be recommended for any serious whitewater use. It is however a superb handling boat in the surf and is ideal as a trainer or for venues where there is NO danger of getting pinned. SEA KAYAK Possibly a P & H but not 100% sure. Orange and white with a chined hull. 2 deck hatches both new, and deck lines. Big long thing (not sure of exact length) sounds a bargain at £190. Tel 01964 537987 (Matthew again)
