'Writing' is called 'writing' because it was given to Mankind to 'Right' All things. If we were to perpetuate 'wrongs', writing would have been called 'wronging'. When we choose to right things, we have the power of control over our actions. We practise 'rites' in hope and through our prayers, to 'right' the things, we believe to be wrong. Writing/Righting/Riting was originally given to Mankind to maintain Heaven on Earth.
Sheep meditate, Wolves read and right, and Shepherds through their understanding nature, meditate, read, and right. Reading and Writing are much different in the The World of the Creator than in The World of Man. In the World of the Creator, everyone is taught from the time they are young, to read and assess everything. From the moment of birth, Sacred Rites are performed to ensure your life will be a success. It is natural to learn to read all living things and understand the spiritual teachings and rites shared by the Great Spirits, the first teachers of all of Mankind, when one is enrolled in the school of life, at birth. All these things ensure that you will be a cultured being.
Culture is anything that makes one grow. Knowing that one needs to understand the Order of the Universe before one is elevated and given the authority to right others, is evident when you learn all things from the Great Spirits of the Natural World. They teach everyone that Writing is a Sacred Trust, given to those that will be a benefit to all life and those willing to right all life. Righting others takes courage and wisdom and the knowledge of these sacred rites, comes over time.
All writers are teachers. At this time in the world, anyone and seemingly everyone, can write. Words are written at this time just to fill pages. Many are teaching and perpetuating 'wrongs'! Sharing the memories of your wrongs, is not writing! The manifestation of Wrong thoughts, has become the World we are all sharing in.
In the World of Man, reading is a program of study forced on society, as a means of controlling the thoughts of a population. If you cannot read you are seen as worthless and not valued as highly as those that can. Writing is taught as a tool that compliments the reading program. If you cannot learn these concepts, one is seen as a failure and a burden, to be dispised and sometimes pitied. The Concepts of Reading and Writing have been altered in the World of Man.
Having walked so far from the Creator's Sacred Way, Mankind has convinced themselves that reading and writing are two exercises that everyone needs. Passed off as intelligence and the keys to a successful existence, many are convinced that only those that can read and write, will be productive citizens, especially in a world that values money, above life. At this time, having been given no alternative, many participate in Reading and Writing grudgingly, or out of necessity, forced to learn what they know in their hearts, to be wrong. Main-stream society has set up various programs and education systems, and People participate in them, not even thinking about how their actions may be interpreted by the Creator.
Like sheep they have accepted these concepts as right, believing that others "up-there" know what is best for them. People are bombarded with studies, research, statistics, and experts that know what is best for everyone. Everyone is taught that those with degrees, papers with letters, Ph.D.'s, MBA's, DD's, etc., those lettered by society, are brighter than others. Even if someone has succeeded without 'proper' schooling, to be brought into the fold, they will be gifted with letters, honourary doctorates, to categorise one's knowledge with a mark of conformation. Bringing one into the body of society, a mark of the degree in which one's thoughts and actions conform to others. This gift is given in public ceremony, so others in the herd can celebrate one's return to the fold. Others now confident in one's doctored abilities willingly place their trust in those with degrees of knowledge. So without thinking through many of our actions, we except what the majority think is best for us, after all we are taught to believe in these beings, that have become experts in their field. There are laws too, if you want to stay home to play rather than learn.
Having heard that the 'majority of people' are likened to sheep, and that those 'following a different drummer', like the Good Shepherd, are like wolves, we should take a moment to understand what sheep, wolves and shepherds are like.
Sheep is the common term used to describe a collective of domesticated animals of the ovine type, a herbivorous hoofed mammal, whose origin Mankind says is not exactly known, but since there are wild sheep, we believe that they are descended from them. Sheep are one of the oldest of all domesticated animals and have been herded by Mankind since ancient times. Sheep chew the cud, which means they chew over again, that which has been chewed and swallowed and is brought up again, to chew and swallow, one more time. Chewing the cud is liken to People discussing a subject like Love. They understanding the concept, except the idea of love, hold it within them, and then they bring love up again, to meditate on, to hold and swallow and then meditate and swallow again. They don't do much with it, just regurgitate. Sheep spend most of their time eating, about five (5) hours of every day, with three (3) hours laying around, chewing the cud, and a couple of hours walking around. Sheep have good lives, with relatively no worries, time to meditate and are happy and content, when the pasture is fertile.
Sheep do need a Shepherd though. They need a Shepherd to guide them to fresh pasture and for the most important reason, to ensure that if they role over on their backs, that they will be righted quickly. Only domestic sheep need a Shepherd, for the wild sheep do not have the same problems as those that live with Mankind. Sheep over the years have become conditioned and as with all things tamed, have lost the strength originally given them by the Creator. Imposing conditions on any living being changes the natural state of that being by placing certain limitations on them, producing the need for greater guidance or policing. Domestic Sheep seem to have developed a problem with balance, for when they roll over, they cannot right themselves. They end up lying on their backs, bleeting for help with feet pointing skyward, filling up with air and if they get too bloated, before being righted again, they will die. Therefore a Shepherd is needed to right the Sheep by rolling them over and they may have to stick them with a needle, allowing the air to escape, and then rolling and righting them, so they can stand on their feet once again.
Mankind has simular problems. They are out of balance, thinking wrong thoughts and many are filled with air, hot and foul, ego's that need deflating, and many are crying out, asking to be righted. The difference with sheep and people is, the sheep don't fight the shepherd. They know they need to be righted. Shepherds can read and assess the problems of others and have the developed the skills nessesary to right things. The job of Shepherding is often done alone and can be very busy, with few rewards, at least not rewards that one can see right away.
Wolves are much different than Sheep. They are sociable beings, very family oriented, and when necessary have developed the skills needed to walk alone. Wolves are noted for their intelligence and adaptability. They thrive on movement and are built to roam. They are the Natural herders or shepherds of deer and sheep, keeping other predators from harming the ones they watch over. Wolves are adept at reading. They can read every weakness; the slightest wobble in an animal's step, taking in every detail, like the thinning of body hair, or the smell of bad breath/air carried by the breeze, keenly assessing and appraising the strength and weakness of the animals they herd. Wolves keep watch over the ones they love and share a soul with, by culling the weak, righting the herd, and helping to maintain the general fitness and strength of those they care for. Through the love they hold for those in their care, wolves demonstrate their love and have earned the rites to correct all things. They became the Spiritual Teachers for those in their domain. Wolves know that what you eat, becomes you. In the same way, what you read and write, or hold in your mind and heart, becomes a part of you.
We, as Native People, remembered all things. For when you re-member, you make Knowledge a part of you and in this way you do not forget that which is ever flowing and life sustaining. Knowledge is all around us. Every living thing has meaning and can be read. Our bodies were made in such a glorious way, which gives us all the natural abilities needed, to allow us to assess all things. Using these gifts, combined with Spiritual Vision, one is able to see and understand all knowledge. We all have the ability to understand the knowledge contained within a leaf, a river, a drop of rain, carried on the hooves of the deer, or displayed on the wings of the birds. Native People taught and shared all knowledge, through the spoken word, through songs, dances, and in ceremonies re-enacted in their Lodges or shared on the fields of the Earth. To really know all things, one must Love all things. It is only through the Spirit of Love that one obtains the Spiritual Vision, necessary to read the writing of the Natural World.
The World of Man is filled with sheep. The Natural Shepherds are labelled as insurrectionists and most of the Wolves have forgotten about the sheep they were supposed to guide, for many of them became lost in the forest chasing the 'green monster'; money. Today many have become lost in the 'civilised world'. Like the domestic sheep, the conditions placed on our lives, has made us docile and unbalanced. We are out of balance, with the Natural World and are not reading the signs written all around us.
One sign, present in many families are the growing numbers of Children being labelled with learning problems like dyslexia and a variety of behaviour problems. Most of these children are perfectly healthy and bright beings, capable of wonderful insights and possibilities. Yet, their way of 'seeing' is different from others, so reading is difficult and the option of conforming is presented as learning and rebellion to confining teaching methods and ideas, is labelled as behaviour problems. Many of the terms for these so called problems and the drugs used to 'control' these problems, have only come into existence in the last twenty years. Could the natural 'problems' of these, our Children, be one way that the Creator is starting to correct Mankind? Could the Creator be saying "Enough!"? When will Mankind decide it is time to listen to the "Voice of God"?
Writing is and was very Sacred. To understand the Sacredness of writing, one needs to have foresight to see and hold the future. Our Ancestors had this foresight and in holding the future in their thoughts, they could see what would happen if everyone wrote down all they knew. The Ancestors knew that all thoughts, become physical in the seventh (7th) generation. They remembered and were always concerned with the seventh (7th) generation and taught others too, to be concerned with the future; our Hope and Grand Children. They could see that if everyone practised writing it would destroy the Natural World. They were able to envision the trees of birch and amatii, used for papermaking. They could see the worms that produced silk, the fields of rice and the reeds of papyrus that would disappear, when used for writing materials. They knew that All thoughts of destruction of the Natural World was (and still is) Unnatural. They had the foresight to see the enslavement of Mankind, which would be needed, as the harvesters for these products and they saw all the tools that would be needed as well, and made through more destruction of the Natural World, should everyone write down all their thoughts. They could also see all the wrong thoughts that would be perpetuated through time. They had the vision that told them of the wrongs that would escalate over time, destroying the Earth, creating an evil existence, should everyone listen to everyone, and to anyone that shared in these wrong thoughts. They knew that others would forget how to see the Spirit of Knowledge, that flows through the One's that share their understanding. They foresaw how everyone would forget the Great Spirits, the Spirits of Life, which hold all knowledge, for anyone and everyone to read. They understood what would happen when everything was written down, in places to be forgotten or destroyed. All words are attached to spirits and carry a spirit. Children can see the spirit of things easier than adults can.
The Holy People, and our Great Ancestors, had the foresight and the love for All Life that is needed to understand how powerful Writing is. They knew that the Creator just had to utter a Word and life came into being, and through His Commands, His Words, the entire Universe came to be. Our Ancestors knew through the power of the words they used in prayer and in ceremony, that words hold power and they knew the power of a Word. Wasn't one of the titles of the Son of God, The Word? Are not the most influential and often the most powerful Men in the World, the ones that own the Media, and the ones that influence your thoughts? Or in a Tribal and Spiritual Way, those that hold power, can "call in" the Spirits? Knowledge of the Word is Power! Care of the Word is Wisdom!
One could go on about the power of the word, by understanding the reason Tribal People struggle to keep their languages alive. They know through experience, that if the language disappears, so do the People. One of the first strategies of any conquering nation is to destroy the Native People's language and the memory and spirit that their words hold.
The Old One's knew that when a word is held by many, as in a chant, that the word has the power to bring forth any thought into reality. They knew that when a word is written and held by those in power it becomes a decree, a judgement that fixes or appoints that written word and thought, holding it in perpetuity. The Elders knew that a written thought, followed by the multitudes, would change the world we all share in. They knew that one must not share in wrong or evil thoughts. The Ancient One's knew they were to correct wrong and evil thoughts, to protect the World the Creator created. They also understood that one wrong thought would multiply very quickly.
Small thoughts become Words. They become words when your thoughts become attached to sacred symbols, which you call the alphabet. When your thoughts matter to your mind and heart, they become matter and physically manifest through actions. Think of these thoughts as small seeds. Call the action, the planting of the seed of thought. Everything you think and everything you hold dear, once given form through the spirit of matter, becomes words, that grow greater through action. In this way, all our words, given power, become something. They become the Future! Thinking thoughts brings about every kind of action. This action, the future, is the natural harvest of a thought.
If you take a small thought and add billions of other's thoughts, you get a collective thought, or what some call the 'collective (un) conscienceness'. All of Mankind shares in this collective conscienceness (Mind of Oneness) and all share in the future we have created together. We are all each other's Future. The Writing of Wrongs keeps wrongs in the mind of Mankind for a long, long time which makes forgiveness a harder process, than it needs to be.
Sacred Rites to right things are formal acts of ones solemn duty to correct one and other to show how much you love one and other. Notice the word solemn…sole/soul/sol, the mn is short for man, Mankind. Solemn means a man/woman makes a sol/soul decision to duty, a sole act to duty. It is everyone's solemn duty to protect and correct one and other. Anyone who loves knowledge wants to be told when one is wrong, and becomes happy for the correction that allows him or her to be made stronger and right. The Creator loves those willing to be corrected.
So choose what you write/right/rite. Feed everyone's Spirit and your own Spirit with care. Care about the things you feed your Soul. Read books that hold to Truth. Better yet, go to the Natural World, the home of the Great Spirits, the first teachers of Mankind, for they do not lie, as they are perfect spirits carrying out their purpose, perfectly. Perfect is how the Creator made them to be and they were not given free will like us, so they act exactly the way the Creator wants them to act. Learn and remember (make a part of you) the teachings they willingly share with everyone. Follow the original Sacred Way, which is available to the entire People's of Earth. The Creator's Sacred Words of Truth are found in the Natural World and not in the books or philosophies of Mankind. Mankind is looking for the Truth. Do not be afraid of the Sword of Truth. Like the needle that helps the sheep, the sword of truth will help you find your way back into the fold. "The Good Shepherd" wants the Children of Earth to start following Him! See with new eyes. See with Spiritual Vision. See where the Truth dwells and find the courage to share all knowledge right.
Practice control over your thoughts at all times. Be concerned with the thoughts made in your mind and held in your heart, and take All Life in the Universe into consideration before you are moved to any action. Then you will be acting and living in a Sacred Way. Those that are not actively correcting others, are participating in all other forms of darkness (killing, destroying, etc.) If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem. We are all responsible for the making of the World we all share in.
We are all responsible for the sorrow being suffered in Littleton, Colo., Chernobyl, Russia, Kosovo, and in a thousand other places on the Earth. Until everyone realises that they should focus on thoughts of Love (not hormonal love), Love for All Life (not just Human Life) and teach those thoughts of Love to one and other, we will be sharing in this World of Pain and Violence, the World made by Mankind. Continually focusing on pain and debating the definition of Love, much like sheep chewing the cud, over and over, instead of acting in Love, jeopardises the Future. The nightly news reminds us, each and every day, in very shocking details, that we are not acting in Love, as we watch our Children become either the victims or the perpetrators, while we sit stupid on our couches. Our Children are our Future!
What we teach our Children, share with them, becomes everyone's future, the future world your grandchildren will live in and the world you will come back to. Unless attitudes change, that Future is really scary, judging by the thoughts (movies, videos, books, words) we all share in. Lets focus on finding ways to define Love and demonstrate it actively to one and other, so we can share in a more beautiful world. Thoughts of Love, will physically manifest, Heaven on Earth.
Share all things right/write. You may not think that everything you do truly effects others, but it does. You have no idea what the outcome of a spoken or written word, might be. Only the Creator, in His Mercy, knows. Sometimes just a word or a thought grows in a being. One correct word spoken, may be the one word or thought that in twenty (20) years gives someone the courage to save a million people or it will be the one word that could save their soul today. Take care in all the thoughts you rite/right and share all thoughts right/write. Choose to be a Wolf.
