We
live in the state of Kansas and hope to make this our home.
We also have a cat named “Lord Oberon” meaning King of the Fairy
Cats, and believe me he lives up to his name.
We got him at our local animal shelter and he was only minutes away from
that fatal thing that they do when they do not find a home in time for the
animals there. He makes us chuckle
all of the time and has become part of the family.
I found the Wiccan Path one day by researching things on the internet and looking at a few books in a local bookstore. I find the path to be interesting and really like what it has to offer me. It seems to fit and comes natural. I have found many people on the internet who are wonderful people, are very intelligent and who have an open mind. What I like the most about them is after a few times talking to them I feel as if I've known them a lifetime. There is so much to learn from all paths, one just needs to take the time to research and listen. I am not saying this path is the only path. I feel they can all be incorporated together using what feels right to them and blending them together. I have been reading, researching and practicing this path for about two years now.
My husband and I practice together. He does the writing of the rituals and I make herbal incense and incorporate the herbal magick within his ritual work. I am very lucky to have a partner that practices with me. I know there are many out there who cannot or do not practice together with their spouse and they still have been able to make it work for them. But to me it is very special being able to share this with my husband.
We also have a son and we have left it up to him to decide what is right for him. He will be graduating from high school this year and going out into the world by himself. We can only hope that we have given him what he needs to survive and that he has the ability to make it on his own and make wise choices. He is a young man with a great imagination and lots of spunk.
