The mission of Operation Marathon is to encourage NASCAR fans across the country to support the operational costs of the Victory Junction Gang Camp and other charitable causes through the 39th Las Vegas Marathon and additional supporting events.
The Victory Junction Gang Camp is about fueling ill children with memories that will sustain and inspire them! For the children, it's as simple as kicking back and relaxing, making friends with other children who have illnesses, not worrying about being different, experiencing the fun and activities of summer camp and making memories.
Everyday countless women around the world face the reality of an unwanted pregnancy.  These women carry their babies to term, give birth in “secret”, and then out of fear, shame, confusion, desperation, or sometimes selfishness, they abandon their newborn baby in some out of the way place – leaving their child to die – hoping that no one will ever know whose child it was. It is our goal to reach the parents of these children before this tragedy happens.
This fund-raiser program is designed for each of us to collect and recycle used & empty Inkjet and Laser printer cartridges from local recycle displays, businesses, and friends.  Instead of discarding these plastic cartridges in the trash, which eventually end up in our landfills, they get recycled as a fund-raiser for Windstar.
