I am a girl scout also. I enjoyed you site. I sing as female back up in an Explorer post drum and am an active member of the East Tennessee Indian League and the Tanasi Butterfly Dancers. The ETIL puts on an anual pow wow each spring. This year it's th first weekend in May. Enjoyed it!

I would like to say this is refreashing, and I only wished that in my youth such groups were available for me and my brother. I grew up knowing my Grandmother was of indian decent but she left the reservation at age 8 and could not remember of what tribe er and her brother were from. Our museum desires to create several Discovery Kits for the school age children of our area. One of the topics chosen, is the Northern Ute Indian Tribe. We are looking for ideas and guidance to create an authentic educational kit. Can you or can you re ommend another contact for us to co-ordinate this information with?
