KID POWER SOLUTIONS

This year, as part of a science assignment, each Sycamore fourth grade student chose a biome from somewhere around the world and prepared a special report on the biome's habitat, climate, animal population, and much more.

As part of the assignment, each student had to identify one or more problems that were affecting their biome. We also had to identify solutions to these problems. One of the solutions had to be a "big solution", something that might take a long time, a lot of money, or the cooperation of many people.

We also had to come up with a "Kid Power Solution", something that a kid can do to help solve the problems we identified. We've collected all of the big solutions and Kid Power solutions on this page, indexed by the individual biomes that we studied. On many of the biome pages, you'll find links to other Web sites that can provide more information about that biome, its problems, and how you can be part of the solution!
