Diana in Heaven
This cartoon appeared shortly after Princess Diana was tragically killed in a car accident.  The accident is/was widely believed to have been aggrivated by papperazzi chasing the car Lady Diana was in.  Throughout her public life, Diana was hounded by media coverage and was THE most photograph person in the world.

Haiti Invasion
Early in Clinton's Administration, the U.S. was threatening to invade Haiti to overthrow the military hunta that ruled the country.  Curiously, though, the Republicans and Democrats appeared to reversed roles w.r.t. the Vietnam War.  This comes from the stereotype that todays Democrats were protesting against the Vietnam War while todays Republicans were for that war.

Management Techniques
This cartoon appeared on the bulletin board in the Device Physics lab while I worked there.  I don't who altered the Gary Larson cartoon or why, but it seems to portray a certain lack of trust in TI's management style.
