Club of Young Travellers Ecologists (St. Petersburg, Russia)
Our club was founded in 1988 by the teacher of geography Anatoly Kharitonov. From the very beginning the aim of the club was the control of the environment of our city. The members of the club are the pupils of the St. Petersburg Gymnasium # 248 (age from 11 to 17).

What are we doing:

Observing the air quality of our city and surroundings (to know how to determine the air quality of your regin click here)
Observing the quality of water of different parts of Leningrad region (St. Petersburg surroundings)
Taking part in different ecological competitions and conferences
Organizing different ecological expeditions
