Population Clock
Screen Saver
for Windows 95

This is a great screen saver that shows just how fast our world is growing. The earth floats through an ever changing star background on your monitor as the date, time, and world population, which escalates before your eyes, are displayed intermittently. It is the perfect screen saver to start conversations about population and resource problems with friends or co-workers. I created it with Visual Basic 4.0, and the world population is simply calculated using an initial population and growth rate from the U.S. Census Bureau.

Download Population Clock Screen Saver!

Instructions:
Click above to download the PopClock.exe file. When you run this file, it will install
Population Clock.scr in your C:\Windows\System directory. You will probably also need to download VB40032.dll into the same folder. Then simply change your screen saver to "Population Clock" in the screen saver tab of your display properties. The sample monitor will just show black, but the preview and settings buttons work. Enjoy!
