(b) Mwiinga G. and Tembo J.

"Evaluation of the Water and sanitation Facilities in Zambia", May 1998:

This consultancy report was a result of a joint effort with the Water Sector Reform Support Unit of Zambia. The work involved carrying out a physical inventory and analysis of the water and sanitation facilities in selected townships in Zambia through field trips.

(c) Mwiinga G.

"Disinfection of borehole water by Chlorination at Fairview Hotel-Lusaka, Zambia", April 1998.

This consultancy report was a result of the work I did for Fairview Hotel in Lusaka, Zambia. In this consultancy, I solely designed, fabricated and installed a constant-rate chlorine solution feeder for the disinfection of the borehole water used by Fairview hotel. The borehole, initially use as a source of drinking water, had been abandoned as result faecal contamination that led to an outbreak of waterborne diseases within the hotel. However, after appropriately installing the constant-rate chlorine solution feeder, the water was effectively disinfected and the use of the borehole water has since been restored.

(d) Mwiinga G. Duindam P. and Mvula F.

" Evaluation of the Water Supply at Fairview Hotel: Lusaka", March 1998.

The work involved physical inspection and assessment of the water supply at the Fairview Hotel in Lusaka and making appropriate recommendations to guarantee potable water supply. The results of this work led to the work described in (c) above.
