Malaria Diagnosis Page

Rapid Malaria Test Link Here

In a typical busy clinic day with anxious and "very" symptomatic patients the last thing the doctor wants are delays in the lab test results. Malaria can be a very dramatic disease and it is usually incomprehensible to most patients the reason why the doctor waits for a malaria smear result, which may delay some hours or more depending on the laboratory work load when "he/she" the patient ,"knows" that the symptoms are those of malaria.

Very often the doctor is in agreement but, still , Lab diagnostic confirmation is necessary to treat the patient so the waiting goes on ,,,, not any more here comes OptiMAL !!!
