About me

Well, you came to this page for one obvious reason, to see what I have to say for myself. I'll keep it short. I have lived in southern Oregon for about 28 years now. For my job I fight forest fires for the Oregon Dept. of Forestry where I have been employed for 14 years now. Currently my position with the ODF is equipment operator where I operate a D6C (10K) Dozer on forest fires, and I also do a bit of metal fabrication as we build our fire trucks at our facilities. My favorite hobbies include, spending time with my wife Rochana, computers, amateur radio, GPS/APRS and traveling. Six years ago I spent a month in London, England and this last February we went to Thailand on vacation for a month. I have joined both the Confluence Project and the sport of Geocaching.
