Ok, folks, Our 7th annual jugglefest is less than a month away and that means it is time to choose a t-shirt design...

Here are some *very* rough drafts for you to examine and comment on.  I'll be working on these for the next couple of days and will bring more finalized versions to juggling on Thursday.  I think we need to pick a design and color combos by next Thursday at the latest. (Jim - when are you and Deb going to meet with the t-shirt people?)

You can skip the text and just look at the pretty pictures if you want... I just wanted to give some background on the design.

If you have *any* suggestions, send them my way - meredee@hotmail.com  Thanks

Design set #1:
The group that went to the IJA convention in Niagara came back with the idea for this design.  The idea was "Juggle Shampoo" - a club-shaped bottle of shampoo with the tag line "Throw, Catch, Repeat."

Well, I had difficulty drawing a bottle that looked enough like a juggling club to be recognizable, but proportioned to allow the text to be legible.  It's just too long and skinny.  In most attempts, if my club-shaped bottle was centered on a shirt, it would look like a funny tie!  Someone (Jeremy?) suggested just making a "juggle shampoo" label and pretending the shirt itself formed the bottle, which I think is a good idea.

I put the design on a navy blue background because I liked the result...Colors are certainly flexible.

So here's what I came up with:

for the front breast pocket area (smallish):

OR a different version with bubbles!

for the back of the shirt (largish):

OR the back of the shirt with bubbles!

("the throw, catch, repeat" is in a font called Beesknees,
and the rest of the text is in a font called Snap, in case you were wondering)

Design #2
This next design is a bit of my own folly, just because I saw one of those "Animal friendly" vanity license plates.  I figure that Texas is a pretty "Juggle friendly" state and I didn't think Duane (?) would mind if I borrowed the text of his licence plate.

PJ made the suggestion of using our juggle guy logo...

I have a few text variations on this one that I'll bring to juggling on Thursday,
along with a test pattern of the design with different "shirt color" backgrounds

That's all for now.  Send input and suggestions to inspire me.
