Eric De Muylder is managing director of CreveTec, a company that develops and supplies technology for ecological production of crustaceans, with particular emphasis on optimalisation of nutrient assimilation and reduction of effluent loads.

- Introduction of more local ingredients in animal feed (Tuna fish meal, coral, poonac, hatchery waste and slaughterhouse wastes)
- Optimalisation of shrimp feed for a completely integrated prawn farm on the outlying island of Coetivy (capacity : 600 MT of prawns / year)
- Supervision of the construction and starting up of a silo storage and automatic dosing system for raw materials (capacity 1500 MT)
- Research into the possibility of farming the giant African land snails (Achatina fulica and A. pantera) for human consumption and as an ingredient in shrimp feed.
- Research into the ecology and possibility of farming and reproduction of the land/mangrove crab Cardisoma carnifex .

- Supervising of the construction and starting up of a shrimp feed mill with a capacity of 6000 MT per year
- Optimalisation of the shrimp feed, formulation and production.
