This picture was taken the day before Lulu passed away.
Lulu came into my life almost four years ago. She was owned by my soon to be husband. Lulu had a sweet disposition in life. She was a very easy going baby who loved anyone who came to our house. There was not a vicious or mean part of her being. Lulu brought two healthy litters of puppies into this world once I knew her. At first I was not sure if I liked the thought of breeding her but after seeing the happy people that left with one of her puppies I knew that it was a good thing. Lulu was a great mother. She took care of her babies even though she had large litters for a small dog.
One of Lulu's favorite things to do outside was to hang out by the pond we had installed. She was even known to fall in a few times. I'm not sure if she was getting to close to the fish in the pond or if she just decided she wanted to take a dip. Lulu loved the water. Even when we would take them on walks, she would head for a ditch filled with water. Nothing felt better to her than walking down the middle of the ditch, getting wet and muddy.
Lulu will be missed by us all. She brought so much happiness, love, and affection into our lives. I pray that God has a special place for our pets. If he does, I am sure that Lulu is loved by all that she is in company of. Lulu never met a stranger and loved everyone that she met.
Lulu will always be in our hearts and thoughts.
