Great pictures...I have a question...I have a really old Christmas Cactus and it doesn't bloom anymore. It was my grandmother's and it always bloomed for her. I've thought maybe it misses her but I guess I'm not giving it what it needs. It also looks a if it's trying to grow roots from around each branch...can you help me with these problems. Frank Supplie is well known and is called one of the leading experts of this field. He has published more than 125 scientific papers, articles and books about epiphytic and orchid cacti. Also he made and is still making crosses between the different genera and has some amazing results. This CD ROM contains 100 pictures of nice flowering epiphytic cacti and hybrids. Some very rare hybrids too. All of the profits of this CD ROM will be going to the Epiphytic Plant Research and Information Centre and will be used for a project about the old Knebel hybrids. Our Christmas cacti started dying with what looked like root rot so about a month ago I cut off a slip and stuck it in a peat pot. About a week ago it seems it took! We now have a couple of small leaf coming off the slip. How can I transplant this with ut damage to the roots, into a big flower pot? It's in one of those little peat tablets that are about the diameter of a silver dollar and 1/4 inch thick until they swell with water to 11/2 inch high. It's ready to transplant, I think! Should I strip t e peat away first? Have a good day, Regards, Bill

I received a Christmas cactus from someone?? about 8 years ago. I didn't pay much attention to it, maybe water it once in awhile. Low and behold one year it bloomed! I fell in love with it. I noticed you displayed a plant called "Queen of the Night". Could you give me some growing info and how to bring it into bloom. I believe we have this plant. You have some beautiful pictures! I have three christmas cactus that I have kept alive for the last three years!!!!! I got a surprise this year though, In late May, I got a brand new bud on it, just one, but I called everyone I know whose has them and n one has heard of it. Have you? We think it may have something to do with the fact that it sits just slightly off from an air conditioning register. Oh well, just wanted to say your pictures are gorgeous!
