Friends of Nylsvley is a voluntary organisation dedicated to the conservation and preservation of the Nyl River Floodplain, in South Africa's Northern Province. This unique wetland is blessed with a great diversity of wildlife which is adapted to the dramatic seasonal changes which occur.The floodplain is surrounded by savannah woodland and grassland habitats which is protected within the Nylsvley Nature Reserve and on private land.
