DIRECTIONS TO NYLSVLEY NATURE RESERVE
Take the N l towards Pietersburg,
Take the Nylstroom oframp at the Kranskop toll plaza. Go into Nylstroom, and join the R 101 at the main four way stop street. Turn right, and travel north towards Naboomspruit. At the BOEKENHOUT Station station turn right, and follow the dirt road for 8 km. Nylsvley is on your left, just after crossing the railway line. The group camp is on the first little road to the left, after turning into Nylsvley. The campsite is just inside the reserve on the right. The distance from the toll plaza to the Boekenhout turn is about 43km. The alternative route is to stay on the Toll road, take the Naboomspruit off-ramp , keep going left, some 3 kmlater you reach the R101 to Nylstroom, travel south until you pick up the Boekenhout Sign.
To find VOGELFONTEIN, leave the Nature Reserve at the main entrance and turn right. Turn right again into the road parrallel to the railway. After about 4 km the road turns at right angles to the right. You will see the Sasol Kingfisher Hide on your left close to a small parking area. To reach the Crake and Dabchick Hides, follow the dyke on the opposite side of the road (from the parking area).
