I originaly had this in my guestbook, but since it's long and it took up a lot of room. It's my response to someone who didn't leave their e-mail or anything, so I thought I should defend my views. I should warn you though, I was kinda pissed off after reading his/her response:) Well, here it is:
Ok... since you didn't put your e-mail down and chose to remain anonymous (I wonder why), I'll respond here in case you decide to come back, but I doubt it. 1st of all, there's a major difference btw killing plants & animals. Apparently you didn't even bother checking out the rest of my site b/c you would've seen that you get the same nutrients (& more) from plants, the Bible says that ALL killing is a sin, look at all the religions that are vegetarian ie. Hinduism. There are NO laws against the torture of
farm animals (go to your nearest slaughter house & you'll see what I mean). Why would the gov't make laws & lose out on profit? And MOST farmers don't give a damn about those animals all they care about is money. The less you care, the more money comes in. We wouldn't have a problem w/ all those animals if we didn't breed them to kill 'em. Read up some more on the subject, keep an open mind & you'll be surprised by what you'll learn. Education is the key. And I am by no means bashing meat eaters, this is
simply my view from months of research. Before I knew any of this stuff, I felt the same way you do now. But, to each his own I guess.
