Welcome to my den! Glad ya made it! Make yourself at home, ok? I know this is sorta high-up, but I have to stay above flood levels, ya know?
If ya don't mind we'll need to be sorta quiet, since my kids are asleep in the next fork over!! They stay up all night and sleep all day! What can I do??
My buddy has been takn' pictures of both me and my kids! I really like them but guess what? He uses a Kodak 110 camera!! I thot they were obsolete ten years ago. So if I look a little fuzzy, we'll blame the camera, ok???
But before we take a look at any pictures, here's something my "buddy" is very concerned about!! If ya aren't really busy and have an extra minute,please check it out,ok??

I sure hope you've enjoyed my story and pictures. My Buddy spent alot of nites down here on the river, watchn' out for me and my babies! I'll always be grateful for everything he did. Winter isn't too far away, so I doubt that we will see him many more times. When warmer weather begins this coming spring you can be sure, Buddy, I'll be watchn' in tha weeds for that flatbottom with headlites! I'd like to hear from some of my furry friends. Well, Rocky, you've given us some beautiful nites, on that lower Meramec! It is very difficult for me to think about how ya live down there! Pontoon boats, parties, dogs, beavers, high water! So many things to make your quiet little life so upsetting. But you're strong and will survive till we meet again. Godspeed!
This is a disclosure describing the past two(2) years. The location is the Meramec River near St Louis, Mo. Everything that took place was completely natural! These little guys are totally living in the wild! No attempt was made to feed them by hand, however, I do believe it would have been possible. All activity took place between 8:00 and 12:00 PM from a boat! Photography was done with a simple Kodak 110 camera.
