This page contains descriptions of some of my favourite comics, and links to publisher- and fan-pages about them.
On-line daily comics |
The Dilbert Zone - the on-line adventures of an archetypal nerd. |
Rose is Rose - A normal, loving and lovable American family - except that the little boy has a guardian angel, the cat gives Yoga lessons, and the mother metamorphoses into a tattooed biker chick -- but hey! Wouldn't we all, if we could? |
Sluggy Freelance - I once tried to describe a particular story line from this comic to a friend. When I'd finished, there was dead silence for about two seconds, then he said "This is the weirdest dream I've ever had!" |
Peanuts. Enough said. |

Comics home pages |
2000 AD - Weekly British science fiction comic magazine. What are they going to call it after the turn of the millenium, I wonder? Links to Tom's 2000AD page, the best page that I've found. |
Battle Angel Alita - originally published in Japan as "Gunnm", or "Gun dreams." The story of an amnesiac cyborg girl who discovers that she retains subconscious knowledge of "Panzer Kunst", the ultimate cyborg martial art. A bleak futuristic setting that makes cyberpunk look like Winnie the Pooh, horrifying ultraviolence, a strong plot, and a rather sweet love story in the background. |
The Dirty Pair. Cute chicks in skimpy costumes with huge guns. What more could you want? |
The Anime Web. Everything for the anime (Japanese animated comics) or manga (Japanese comics) fan. Huge archive of images. |
Super Information Hijinks: Reality Check! Created by Tavicat Comics, published by Sirius Entertainment Catreece is an ordinary housecat in early-21st-century Los Angeles -- until she goes to sleep under her boy Colin's (well, he thinks she's his cat...) Virtual Internet System helmet. From then on he can't keep her off the Net, or out of trouble. |
