Really enjoyed the pics. My Grandpa was a lighthouse keeper with the Coast Guard and the Lighthouse Service before that. On top of that he was always a "shutterbug" so he has tons of pics from nearly all the lighthouses along the Great Lakes that he alw ys breaks out when we go see him.

G'day from Australia. I have many happy memories of the Great Lakes region, hAving travelled to Duluth by ocean going ship, to load grain for Italy. I also worked on tha Australisn Lighthouse ships, MV Cape Pillar and MV Cape Moreton, so ligthouses are special to me. Love your page. Good Luck.

Hi Bill & Jean, Thanks for stoping by and signing our guestbook. I loved the ferrets Fiesty & Dakota. I have always wanted one,but I fear they are to much for me. Friends of ours have one and I love him to death but he gets into everything. We are about t take a trip the the UP to visit Whitefish Point and the Ship Wreck Museum. Haven't been there since 1988. So we are excited to go. You have a great page. Keep up the great work.

One does not have to be into adoring the structure of Lighthouses to appreciate the beauty of this webpage.
