STOP THE KILLING OF DOLPHINS AND TURTLES IN THE SAN BERNADINO STRAIT!

WHERE EXACTLY IS THIS PROBLEM TAKING PLACE?

The following map is from the Department of tourism and is chosen because the lines used to divide Luzon/Visayas/Mindanao are coincidently the same route lines of the migrating marine animals passing through the Straits to and from the Pacific Ocean and the Visayan seas in the Philippines.

Another coincidence, these lines also represent the weather patterns, the seasonal winds and tidal currents, all of which are NE to SW and visa versa.

Clearly seen are the Exit/Entry points to and from the Pacific Ocean.
There are only two Straits passable, one is the San Bernadino Strait.
In this Strait about 300 tons of explosives, mostly locally made Dynamite, are blasted by local fishermen every year!

The Damage to Reef and Marine life is obvious and can be checked out on existing web sites. What is not obvious is the damage done to the navigational senses of the marine animals such as Turtles and Dolphins who migrate through this Strait.

These Animals rely heavily on their ears for swim balance, in catching food and migrational navigation. The damage they suffer to their ears have reduced the numbers of migrating animals and increased the numbers of circle swimming lone wanderers.
