Highways shop headquarters for the surrounding communities. Employs 24 in the winter and 27 in the summer. Highways maintains all highways around Beauval, Ille a La Crosse, Buffalo, LaLoche and Cluff Lake road. Also maintains airports in Beauval, Ille a La Crosse, Buffalo, and LaLoche. Highways shares the use of the facillities with the Northlands Community College. Highways looks after gravel roads and paved roads. Things in their job discription are: deep patching, hand patching, sand vicking, sand sealing, grating, installing calverts, steaming calverts, plowing snow of the road, and salting the road.
