====== Since I have a BS in Biology, I more or less stand half-way between the general public and the Ph.Ds. I'm almost certain this site will seem far too scientific to the former and not nearly scientific enough to the latter! I came up in the 50's and 60's and still remember when official academia considered Plate Tectonics, for example,to be science-fiction. Nowadays the professors are a bit more broad-minded and tolerant of (formerly) deviant points of view. Likely the New Age public and their successors will
consider me far too official instead. These pages are intended to be (semi ) official science, liberally larded with speculative sorties from time to time to time.

=== The local press reported that Christopher Robin Milne died in 1996 at the tender age of 75. Apparently ( and understandably ) , he was not too crazy about being remembered his whole life as a famous child. ( I found out while researching this squib that he wrote three books about it, the last in 1974! )
