Nate's Nifty Bookmarklets

This page contains "bookmarklets", tiny functions written in JavaScript that are helpful when web browsing.

The IBM PC Support Machine Lookup bookmarklet prompts you to enter a machine type and model number of an IBM PC or ThinkPad, then takes you to the support page for that machine.

The Search Google bookmarklet prompts you to enter a term to search the Google Web database, then takes you to the results page.

The Search Usenet bookmarklet prompts you to enter a term to search the Google Usenet database, then takes you to the results page.

The Show San Jose location bookmarklet asks you to enter a San Jose address, then displays the map for that address.

To save the bookmarklet to your browser, simply drag the link to your Personal Bookmarks/Favorites toolbar.
